SALT LAKE CITY — New buses at the University of Utah are packing a high-tech improvement that allows the electrical vehicles to gain a charge through plate


SALT LAKE CITY, UT, USA – Oct 22, 2014 – Wireless Advanced Vehicle Electrification (WAVE) today announced its upcoming event on October 29 to commence commercial deployment of a 50 kW wirelessly powered electric bus serving a light rail “TRAX” station in Salt Lake City. WAVE’s state-of-the-art Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technology used in the project is the most powerful and efficient single pad wireless charging system ever deployed by a U.S. company for public transit.
